The SAFE dog prevention program is a complete curriculum for teaching Girl Scouts, Brownies, and Daisies, kindergarten age through middle school, about the importance of the dog safety. Any dog can bite, even family dogs.

When adults and children know how to read dog body language, everyone can be safer around dogs. This fun and engaging program teaches the SAFE dog bite prevention game that any child (or adult…it works for adults too) can learn how to play.

The SAFE dog bite prevention program has been designed for educators, parents, Girl Scout leaders, and concerned community citizens. You don’t have to be a school teacher to present this safety program. Each unit is completely scripted so you can be comfortable presenting the information, with a colorful and engaging PowerPoint presentation and animated videos. A copy of the program manual, PowerPoint, and videos are available for download after purchase. One Dog Smart Card Game, 10 full color 4 x 6 SAFE game postcards, and 10 SAFE patches will be mailed to you. Each postcard has a blank space for you to include your contact information,  dates about your next event, or a reminder to the girls or their parents.
